Join the power movement as a Supplier Integration Manager

The Supplier Integration Manager is a key member of the Supply Chain team. They are accountable for integrating suppliers into the early stages of projects to optimize schedule, cost, and quality. The Supplier Integration Manager is an expert in technical sourcing, speaks the language of engineers, and understands how to marshal internal and external resources in support of project objectives.

What you'll do:
  • Act as the supply chain main point of contact for a set of internal customers, developing a procurement plan supporting the project needs
  • Drive the execution of source selection projects, coordinating cross-functionally and adhering to commodity strategies where applicable
  • Work with the engineering team to understand the specifications of equipment, parts or services to purchase to meet the project needs
  • Identify potential suppliers, seek their inputs on the specifications and participate in the evaluation of the supplier options
  • Gather and interpret non-technical requirements, draft and review statements of work
  • Drive the source selection from end to end, ensuring such process results systematically in the selection of the best value supplier, balancing price, delivery, quality and service
  • Negotiate short and long-term agreements for parts, subassemblies, finished goods, equipment, and/or services
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Monitor suppliers throughout the execution of the contracts
  • Support cost savings initiatives, lead time improvement projects, quality improvement projects, and recommend changes to processes to improve supply chain performance
  • Define or collaborate on project procurement or commodity strategies
  • Visit suppliers as necessary to conduct business reviews or check on project milestones
  • Negotiate internally and externally at high levels or with persons of influence frequently


What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or other related fields
  • 5+ years’ related work experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, engineering or other relevant supplier-focused environment
  • Proven experience in supporting critical new product introduction activities for highly technical products
  • Deep understanding of supply chain and ERP best practices
  • Ability to communicate with internal engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers in a collaborative way
  • Ability to negotiate complex contracts
  • Organizational and project management skills
  • Customer service mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrate integrity, respect, attention to detail, collaboration, creativity and agility
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment


Bonus points for:
  • Master’s degree in the field of Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or other related field
  • Previous experience sourcing equipment for specialized industrial processes (e.g., cryogenics, high vacuum, oil and gas) or powerplants
  • Previous experience in a high growth environment
  • Experience sourcing highly technical products or experience managing highly technical suppliers through contracting and delivery


Must-have Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call regularly
  • Work in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenics

$90,000 - $145,000 a year
Salary range for this full-time position + equity + benefitsThe actual salary will depend on level, location, qualifications, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Benefits include:
