Your responsibilities

  • Build and ship real software that is used in production, not toy projects
  • Work across our stack on data pipelines, simulation tools, internal tooling or control systems depending on where the biggest need is
  • Collaborate directly with scientists and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into robust solutions
  • Contribute to code reviews, documentation and improving engineering standards
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing systems and propose and implement improvements

What you bring

  • Currently enrolled in a top university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related technical discipline
  • Strong programming fundamentals, we do not care much about which language, we care that you think outside the box
  • Experience building real things outside of coursework, open source, side projects, hackathons, anything that shows you ship
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where the problem is not always fully defined
  • Fast learner who asks smart questions and does not wait to be told what to do
  • Fluent in English
