The expected hiring range for this position is:

$88,800.00-$116,900.00.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.

About the Role:

Under general supervision and working on complex tasks, responsible for all activities related to system administration, assigning personnel to various projects, directing their activities, and evaluating their work as required. Works on several complex components of a project. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. May lead and supervise others in a group.

What your day-to-day as a CMMS Systems Administrator III will look like:

  • Responsible for all activities related to system administration.
  • Assigning personnel to various projects, directing their activities, and evaluating their work as required.
  • Ensuring long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization.
  • Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software.
  • Implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
  • Recognizing and trouble shooting complex problems with server hardware, operating system and applications software.
  • Establishing and documenting standards and procedures for management review.
  • Assuming computer security responsibility for managed systems.
  • Communicating and coordinating with other technical personnel working closely on a project, including those from non-computing disciplines.
  • Communicating effectively to management, peers, and stakeholders, in written and verbal form, such as the following activities: telephone queries; written progress and status reports; electronic mail; and technical documentation.
  • Providing consultation to users and supporting services as needed.
  • Interfacing with suppliers and vendors as needed.
  • May supervise, instruct, direct, and check the work of others in a group.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.

Essential Competencies and Attributes for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business systems, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise systems, business applications, or technical projects. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered where applicable.
  • Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • In-depth understanding of enterprise computer systems, application administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of CMMS, asset management systems, maintenance processes, reporting, and data management practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage complex systems, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholder needs.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Experience with system configuration, access management, testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Experience developing reports, metrics, dashboards, and data-driven solutions to support operational decision-making.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including end users, technical personnel, management, and leadership.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical personnel, maintenance professionals, engineers, vendors, and organizational leadership.
  • Ability to lead projects, coordinate activities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Onsite: This is an onsite role, and the candidate must be able to work from our Batavia Office.
